Oceania Cruises Slated to Build Another Vessel

Oceania Cruises and Fincantieri have agreed to extend the option for a third 1,258-guest, Oceania Class vessel by another 12 months.

Oceania Cruises is a luxury cruise line with stops at more than 300 ports across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Americas.  Currently, the company owns three 684-guest ships, but the 1.258-guest “Marina” will soon join the fleet in the winter of 2010.

Formed in 2007, Prestige Cruise Holdings is the parent company of both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
