For the feeling of staying at an island resort onboard a cruise ship, consider the Havana staterooms and suites on Carnival Cruise Line's new Carnival Vista.
Travel Agent was onboard the new 3,939-passenger ship recently at PortMiami and snapped these shots of the Havana private enclave, accessible via key card.
It's a fun place for families with children 12 years and older. FYI, no younger kids may stay in these accommodations.

The extra-large outdoor private deck for each stateroom or suite includes a hammock chair and other outdoor patio furniture.
For even more interior space, clients can step up to a Havana Cabana suite. One of its perks is a very spacious bathroom with double vanities and a rain shower.

One big perk for booking a stateroom or suite in the Havana complex is its location, close to the Havana Bar & Pool.
By day, the pool area is reserved for those staying in the complex. By night, it's open to all and becomes a fun hot spot for conversation and drinks.
