P&O Cruises Celebrates Full Return to Service

P&O Cruises is set for a return to full service with Arcadia departing on a Canary Islands itinerary on March 27. This will mark the return of all six ships in the fleet following its pause in operations due to COVID-19.

In December, the line will add Arvia—the seventh ship to its fleet.

Paul Ludlow, president of P&O Cruises, said that Britannia and Azura have had a successful season in the Caribbean from Barbados and will spend the summer in the Mediterranean. Iona has spent its maiden winter in the Canary Islands and northern Europe and will soon head up to the Norwegian fjords for the summer, he added.

In December, Arvia will set sail to Canary Islands, followed by a winter of fly/cruise holidays in the Caribbean from Barbados. Arvia will be similar to its sister ship Iona. The LNG-powered ship will have many sustainable and environmentally friendly innovations and technology on-board.
