Princess Cruises to Sail to Mexico, Hawaii and California Coast

Princess Cruises has announced that Sapphire Princess will sail round-trip from the Port of Los Angeles, marking the line’s first summer season to MexicoHawaii and the California Coast. Cruises start June 25, 2022, and will take guests on 16 cruises ranging from four to 16 days, including a five-day getaway for July 4.

The new seven-day “Mexican Riviera with La Paz” itinerary will include stops in Cabo San Lucas, La Paz and Ensenada. Sailings depart on June 25 and September 3, 2022. Another itinerary is the seven-day “Mexican Riviera with Puerto Vallarta,” which has two departure dates on July 30 and September 17, 2022, and will include visits to Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada. The 10-day “Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez” will include an overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas with La Paz, Loreto and Puerto Vallarta with sailings departing on September 24 and October 23, 2022.

The seven-day “Classic California Coast” itinerary has three departure dates: July 23, August 27 and September 10, 2022. A highlght of this voyage will be an overnight in San Francisco with San Diego and Ensenada as other stops. The five-day “West Coast Getaway with San Francisco” itinerary will offer visits to San Francisco and Ensenada. Sailings depart on July 2 (with late night stay in San Francisco on July 4) and August 6, 2022. The four-day “West Coast Getaway with San Diego” itinerary will set sail on October 19, 2022. It will include visits to San Diego and Ensenada.

The 15- and 16-day “Hawaiian Islands” cruises will include stops in Hilo, Honolulu, Kauai (Nawiliwili), Maui (Kahului) and Ensenada. Sailings depart on July 7 (16 days), August 11 (16 days), October 4 (15 days) and November 2, 2022 (15 days).

Bookings will open on February 16, 2022. The inaugural-week offer includes $1 deposits and $50 on-board spending money per person when booked by February 24, 2022. The offer is valid in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. The 2,670-guest MedallionClass cruise ship, Sapphire Princess, has over 700 balconies, besides fine dining and entertainment options.
