Princess’ “Sanctuary” Going Fleetwide

Sanctuary

Princess Cruises is citing popular demand for its decision to extend its adult-only Sanctuary areas to the rest of its ships through 2010. The secluded areas, which are currently on Crown Princess and Emerald Princess, provide a tranquil area for guests looking for a more peaceful and quiet environment. This summer, the area will be added to Island Princess, Grand Princess and Star Princess, and will also be a feature on Ruby Princess, Princess’ newest ship debuting in November.

While Emerald Princess’ Sanctuary is outside off the spa, the line says the areas will be implemented in different locations depending on the ship.

The Sanctuaries, which command a $10 charge for half-day passes, have massage cabanas, drink and meal service, deluxe chaise lounges and amenities, such as Evian water atomizers and chilled face towels. Special Sanctuary stewards are also on hand to provide additional services, such as MP3 players. Visit www.princess.com.
