Refurbished Carnival Miracle Kicks Off Summer Season in Europe

Carnival Cruise Line has announced that Carnival Miracle has kicked off its summer season in Europe following an extensive dry dock in Cadiz, Spain. The ship welcomed its first guests upon its return to service in Lisbon, unveiling a series of enhancements, from the addition of new venues, including the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, to redesigned public spaces, such as Cloud 9 Spa.

Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge serves as a gathering place celebrating the many active-duty military and veterans that sail with Carnival. With this new venue on Carnival Miracle, Heroes Tribute is now featured on 15 Carnival ships. The ship’s Carnival Adventures store now offers guests an updated space to plan and book experiences ashore. The ship’s mini-golf area and nightclub were remodeled with new layouts and designs to enhance the guest experience for cruisers of all ages and interests. The casino was also expanded. The Camp Ocean youth area and teens club were revamped with a bright, refreshed design and new enhancements.

A Chef’s Table venue was also added on Deck One, creating a new space for Carnival’s signature culinary experience. Additionally, a new Dreams Studio was added, providing a refreshed setting for professional photo moments. Several other public spaces, including Cloud9 Spa, Serenity adults-only retreat, Club 02, Java Blue coffee shop and Lido marketplace, were refreshed.

Carnival Miracle guests sailing from Lisbon will enjoy a seven-day itinerary with visits to La Coruña, Bilbao, Le Verdon (Bordeaux) and Le Havre (Paris). The ship will arrive in Dover (London), where it will begin a series of nine- and 12-day cruises to bucket-list destinations across the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Baltics and Northern Europe. Later this summer, Carnival Miracle will reposition to Civitavecchia (Rome), for cruises that include visits to other ports in Italy as well as France, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Türkiye. In November, Carnival Miracle will reposition to a new homeport upon its return to the U.S. in Tampa, FL. The 2,670-guest ship will then sail six-, seven- and eight-day cruises to destinations in the Bahamas and across the Caribbean.
