Revamped Oasis of the Seas to Debut New Suite Concept

Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas will receive a new stateroom concept during its drydock next month: the Ultimate Panoramic Suite. The new suites will debut November 24 when the ship wraps its $165 million renovation project that will also reimagine its top deck, adding the Ultimate Abyss and The Perfect Storm slides. 

The new Ultimate Panoramic Suites will afford guests a 200-degree panoramic view through wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling glass windows above the bridge, a sightline that the cruise line says is unlike any other on the ship, except for the Captain’s

The two suites will be part of the Royal Suite Class and will be able to host up to four guests. Amenities will include a master bath with a private bathroom, a walk-in closet with a dressing room area, a living area and a half bath. As part of the Star Class, the suite will also offer travelers amenities such as their own “Royal Genie” butler service, access to the suite lounge, complimentary VOOM high-speed Internet and complimentary specialty dining.

First announced in May, the Oasis of the Seas renovation is part of the cruise line’s $1 billion Royal Amplified fleet enhancement program. Other planned updates include a Splashaway Bay kids’ aqua park and The Lime & Coconut bar on the top deck; Music Hall, a venue first introduced on the line’s Quantum-class ships; the cruise line’s first barbecue concept, Portside BBQ; laser tag; an escape room; and the dedicated karaoke venue Spotlight Karaoke

On November 24 the revamped ship will begin sailing out of Royal Caribbean’s new Terminal A in PortMiami on a program of seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries. In May 2020, the ship will reposition to New York City, becoming the largest cruise ship ever to sail from the New York area. The ship will sail from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, on seven-night itineraries to the Bahamas, with visits to the cruise line’s newly revamped private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay

The new Ultimate Panoramic Suites are now available for booking.
