Seabourn Cruise Line released design renderings of its all-suite, all-veranda accommodations on Seabourn Encore, the luxury line's newest 40,350-grt ship, set to launch in late 2016. The new ship is being configured with one additional deck (compared with the line's existing Odyssey-class vessels) and expanded public areas.

As with other design elements for the new 600-passenger ship, the suite "look" is created by Adam D. Tihany, a well-known designer who blended modern design elements and innovations consistent with the line's approach of understated elegance.

Suite renderings are available to view at the line's dedicated microsite for the ship -- encore.seabourn.com. That site includes news, details and images focused on the new ship and is being updated on an ongoing basis.

Seabourn Encore will feature 300 spacious suites, each with a private veranda. Standard veranda suites have nearly 300 square feet for the accommodations and a private veranda of up to 74 square feet.

The luxurious Wintergarden suites offer 1,300 square feet of space plus and have verandas of nearly 200 square feet.

"As on every one of our ships, guests will feel right at home when they enter their suite aboard Seabourn Encore," said Richard Meadows, Seabourn's president.

"The suites will offer many thoughtful amenities and personal touches that we are known for, and will be designed with the style and elegance our guests have come to love and expect from Seabourn," he said.

Drawing inspiration from the line's rich history and maritime heritage, the suites will evoke a residential atmosphere with high-level finishes, furniture and rich mahogany wood. Subtle nautical references include blue-and-white detailed carpet and white-stitched upholstered headboards.

Each modern, all-marble guest bathroom will feature polished stone, gleaming hardware and sparkling mirrors. Bathrooms will sport a full tub, shower, double sinks and Molton Brown bath products.

Within the Penthouse Suite, guests will have the option of closing off a patterned glass wall to the living room to create a distinctive, private bedroom space.

Personal Suite Stewardess' service will include: welcome champagne and canapés; selection of designer soaps; drawing a Pure Pampering bath; replenishing ice and bar set-up; managing laundry service needs; assisting with special requests; and personalized nightly turndown service.

In-suite features and amenities? Guests will have a comfortable living area; queen-size bed or two twin beds; a separate living room area for enjoying expansive ocean views or in-suite dining; ample storage and walk-in closet with personal safe; a choice of pillows, and a complimentary mini-bar stocked and refilled daily with guests' choices of drinks, including wine and spirits.

Entertainment options will include an interactive flat-screen TV system featuring hundreds of movies, music, shipboard programming (including lectures and live bridge views)  as well as broadcast network television and radio channels.
