Norwegian to Host Food & Wine Festival at Sea in 2024

Sixthman has partnered with Agency 21 Consulting (A21) and EBG to create the first-ever “Chefs Making Waves” festival. The four-night all-inclusive culinary cruise will spotlight the celebrity chefs, wine and spirit producers, authors and more. The festival begins March 25, 2024, setting sail from the Port of Miami aboard Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Pearl; it will visit Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, before returning on March 29. 2024.

The culinary cruise will offer walk-around tastings, cooking demonstrations, curated dinners, late-night parties, brunches, lunches, mixology experiences and more, all led by Food Network chefs, TV personalities, cookbook authors, food activists and restaurateurs. Guests can expect Michael Symon, Robert Irvine, Aarón Sánchez, Scott Conant, Marc Murphy, Buddy Valastro, Andrew Zimmern, Anne Burrell, Marcus Samuelsson and Maneet Chauhan to be onboard, with additional culinary talent will be announced later.

Travelers looking to sharpen their culinary skills can grab a seat at one of the cooking demos onboard and learn how to make pasta like a pro, taste global cuisine and bake like a boss. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a beachside barbecue hosted on the sand of Great Stirrup Cay. The Pool Deck and Garden Café will host late-night takeover events with sweets and sounds of the ’70s at the Dessert Disco. Guests can munch on Mexican street tacos to savory samosas and everything in-between at International Street Eats, and enjoy the dance, culture, and cuisine of Cuba at Cabana Cubana.

Guests can start their morning off with one of the ship’s several fitness classes such as morning yoga or pickleball, and follow it with refreshing beverages and breakfast bites. Guests can also look forward to chef collaborations every night in the dining room followed by post-dinner events including interactive culinary games and food-inspired movie screenings. Most events will be led and hosted by culinary and mixology mavens.

The purchase of stateroom includes all programming (excluding select premium experiences) and a complimentary “Premium Plus Beverage Package” that includes top-shelf cocktails, spirits, beer, champagne, and wine by the glass, unlimited soft drinks and juices, unlimited still and sparkling bottled water, all Starbucks coffee, specialty drinks, and energy drinks.
