Swan Hellenic Expands its North America Team

Swan Hellenic has appointed seasoned cruise industry professionals Eric Bacon and Kelly Predmesky to strengthen its sales support. Both are appointed as sales director, key accounts. Kelly, based in Florida, will take responsibility for the Eastern States, while Eric, based in California, will take charge of the West.

Predmesky is an industry professional with more than 17 years’ experience. Based in West Palm Beach, FL, she introduced the Celestyal Cruises product to the travel agent community in the Southeast U.S. and Caribbean. Prior to joining Celestyal, Kelly was most recently with MEDJI Tours and earlier held positions with Contiki and STA Travel.

Prior to joining Swan Hellenic, Bacon spent two years as Celestyal Cruises’ West Coast business development manager, worked as a consultant for Atlas Ocean Voyages and spent four years as the Southwest business development manager for the Norway-based coastal ferry and expedition cruise line Hurtigruten. Earlier experience includes four years as regional sales director, Canada, as well as posts at Rail Europe and several Canadian travel agencies.

Swan Hellenic's purpose-built ships have Scandi-design interiors, extensive outdoor spaces and dedicated expedition facilities. SH Minerva and SH Vega, two new Polar Code PC 5 expedition cruise ships with ice-strengthened hulls, launched in December 2021 and July 2022, respectively; each accommodates 152 guests in 76 spacious suites and staterooms, the majority with large balconies. A slightly larger PC 6 ice-class vessel, SH Diana, accommodating 192 guests in 96 staterooms and suites, will be arriving in May 2023.
