Masters of Wine Susie Barrie and Pete Richards will join Riviera River Cruises six times this summer and fall. The pair will join for an after-dinner talk followed by an informal Q&A the next morning.
Known for their wine segments on BBC One’s “Saturday Kitchen,” Barrie and Richards will meet passengers aboard four of Riviera River Cruises’ itineraries. These include the Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg aboard the MS Emily Brontë; the Rhine & Moselle on the MS Jane Austen; the Burgundy, Rhone River & Provence on the MS Swiss Corona; and the Cruise the Heart of Europe aboard the new MS Robert Burns.
The Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg cruise will depart July 23 and August 20 and the Cruise the Heart of Europe trip will leave October 19. These two will visit Rüdesheim, home of the Riesling grape, and Mainz, the wine capital of Germany.
The Rhine & Moselle cruise offers departure dates of July 25 and August 22. Passengers on this trip will see two towns that were the center of the Moselle wine trade, Rüdesheim and Cochem.
The Burgundy, Rhone River & Provence package stops in at the central location of the Burgundy wine region, Beaune. Travelers hoping to see Barrie and Richards can depart on this cruise August 27.
