Victoria Cruises Repositions Victoria Sophia to Yangtze Due to Demand

Victoria Cruises, which offers river cruises on China's Yangtze River, is reporting an increased demand for cruises to the Three Gorges from global markets coming into 2017. The cruise line has repositioned the Victoria Sophia on its Three Gorges Highlights program. The vessel joins the rest of Victoria Cruises' fleet of ships offering three-and four-night cruises between Chongqing and Yichang

  • Visit the worlds largest hydro-electric dam project in the world, the Three Gorges Dam
  • Shiabaozha, often referred to as "The Pearl of the Yangtze" 
  • Small-boat experience along one of the Yangtze's tributaries via traditional Chinese sampan

The onboard experience offers informative lectures, nightly entertainment and a dining program curated by Emmy Award-winning celebrity chef, Walter Staib.
