Viking's New Agent Portal Lavishes Agents With Gifts

Registration has its rewards. On Tuesday, five travel agents received early holiday presents when Viking River Cruises conducted a random drawing of five names among thousands of agents who have registered at the line's new travel agent portal. The following five agents were awarded Ipod Touches: Michelle Bokermann-Enriquez of Bennett VIP Travel in Pasadena, CA; Boni Cline of Cruise Planners in Tucson, AZ; Barbara Joannes of Apollo Bock Travel in Omaha, NE; Keith Stahlecker of Morris Murdock Travel in Salt Lake City, UT; and Christina White-Thompson of Warwick Travel Service in Newport News, VA.

The new portal was built specifically to fulfill the needs of travel agents. Categories include: Why Sell Viking— an introduction to river cruising and the specific benefits to passengers of traveling with Viking River Cruises; Destinations— content about the itineraries Viking offers; Marketing Supplies— downloadable versions of Viking sales and marketing pieces; Training— presentations, FAQs and webinars; and Groups— an area devoted to helping travel agents market Viking to groups of all sizes.
