Virgin Voyages Launches "Scarlet Summer Season Pass"

Global entrepreneur Richard Branson is giving WFH a new meaning as Virgin Voyages introduces its “Scarlet Summer Season Pass.” Travelers can now WFH, “Work From Helm,” with a month aboard Scarlet Lady as it sails through the Mediterranean Sea

Travelers can say goodbye to "boring, glitchy virtual backgrounds with those awkward floating head illusions and bid 'Ahoy!' to striking (real) backdrops in southern Europe," the cruise line pitches. Between June and September, travelers can embark on a four-week journey, exploring coastal towns like Cannes, Civitavecchia (Rome), Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Ajaccio (Corsica) and more.

Inspired by Branson’s passion for doing what you love while also having a bit of fun and adventure, the "Scarlet Summer Season Pass" offers guest the opportunity to work, travel and eat their way through Europe while enjoying "the fastest Wi-Fi at sea." The ship is newly equipped with integrated SES Cruise mPOWERED + Starlink PRO, offering connectivity of up to 1.5 Gbps per ship. Wi-Fi is complimentary for all guests, as are gratuities, group fitness classes like yoga and HIIT or spin classes, soft drinks, coffee and tea, and food from more than 20 eateries.

Along with visiting nine destinations across Spain, Italy and France, travelers who book the new four-week season pass will gain access to a dedicated concierge to help plan their month-long adventure. Whether it’s securing a reservation to the only Korean BBQ at sea or booking a day trip to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cinque Terre, sailors will have support throughout their entire journey.

The "Scarlet Summer Season Pass" includes four, back-to-back voyages and represents a savings of up to 30 percent compared to travelers booking four independent voyages. The package for two includes accommodations in a Central Sea Terrace in a prime location on the ship. The modern cabins offer fun mood lighting, high-tech tablets to control the blinds, AC and television, rainfall showers and Virgin Voyages’ signature red hammock on the outdoor balcony.

Also included is:

  • Premium Wi-Fi
  • Wash and fold laundry service
  • Early access to book on-board dining and Shore Things
  • Access to a support team while on Scarlet Lady
  • Entry to Richard’s Rooftop, inclusive of daily Moët happy hours
