Virgin Voyages Opens for Business for Travel Agents

Virgin Voyages has announced that it is officially open for business for travel partners in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. The new, adults-only cruise travel brand says it refers to its travel partners as First Mates, and the company has opened registration on, a dedicated online platform for travel sellers. will be the digital home for First Mates to learn, engage and do business with Virgin Voyages. Beginning February 5, will offer all of the tools needed for First Mates to become immersed in everything Virgin Voyages has to offer, including downloadable digital and in-store marketing materials, interactive
learning materials and more. Virgin Voyages will kick off ‘Cabin Fever’ on February 6, an immersive learning campaign for First Mates on Scarlet Lady’s cabins and suites as they prepare to go on sale. First Mates will be able to make bookings for the new travel brand’s 2020 inaugural season through as of February 14, 2019, and can contact the company’s Sailor Services team from February 5 if they have clients holding pre-sale deposits. 

All First Mates registered to do business with Virgin Voyages before the on sale date of February 14 will have the opportunity to enter to win tea with Sir Richard Branson (must opt-in to sweepstakes by 11:59 EST on February 13).

Virgin Voyages is a new, adults-only cruise brand. Its first ship, the Scarlet Lady, is set to sail from PortMiami starting in 2020. The line said that it will announce further details on its onboard experience and opportunities for travel agents ahead of opening for bookings on February 14.
