Windstar Makes Canary Islands Return

Windstar Cruises is making a triumphant return to the Canary Islands after a 10-year absence, having announced two new seven-day sailings to the region in November 2009 on the 148-passenger Wind Spirit.

The itinerary departs Lisbon, Portugal, on November 14, 2009, and visits Casablanca and the seaside resort town of Agadir, Morocco, on the northwest coast of Africa, before sailing to ports of Lanzarote, Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands. On the November 21, 2009, sailing Wind Spirit will depart Santa Cruz de Tenerife and cruise to Las Palmas, Lanzarote, Agadir and Casablanca before arriving in Lisbon. Fares start at $1,999 per person.
