Windstar Cruises has announced a Winter Group Blitz program with extra incentives for agents to book groups by Aug. 31. The promotion targets the 2006 and 2007 winter season in the Caribbean and Costa Rica which stretches from December through April with only a few sailings excluded. For groups booked on sailings in the Caribbean and Costa Rica this winter, travel agents will receive a $1,000 bonus commission for groups of 20 or more and a $500 bonus for groups numbering between 10 and 19. Windstar has also sweetened its tour conductor policy and will give one free berth for every eight booked, in lieu of the normal 1 for 10 offer.
