10 Upcoming Las Vegas Shows You Need to Check Out

Las Vegas is known for its nightly entertainment. From music, to comedy, to dance, there's bound to be something for everyone. Here are 10 shows coming to Vegas this fall and winter that are worth check out.

Jennifer Lopez: September 6-30, October 4, 6, 7, 2017, Axis Theater, Planet Hollywood

J Lo will be singing and dancing to her best work from the past and present in this hour and a half show. With 16 backup dancers, a five-piece band, specially tailored costumes, and state of the art special effects, this show has everything. It was also the winner of Best Production Show in the Las Vegas Review-Journal's 2016 Readers' Poll. Following the super star’s past, present, and future, the show is designed to bring the audience up close and personal.

Ricky Martin Select dates September 12-23, Park Theater, Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino

With hits like one of the bestselling singles of all time, “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” the Latin pop singer, actor, and now author is coming back to the Strip. VIP tickets are available. Patrons must be 6 years of age or older.

Santana: September 13-24 and November 1-12, House of Blues at Mandalay Bay

Rock and Roll legend Carlos Santana is playing Vegas this fall at An Intimate Evening with Santata Greatest Hits. There are both drink and show tickets (comes with a drink ticket for cocktail, beer, wine, or soft drink in the venue) and dinner and ticket (with $30 dinner voucher for House of Blues Restaurant and Bar and one drink inside the music hall) packages available. Patrons must be 18 or older. 

Tape Face Select dates in September, October, and November, Bugsys Cabaret, Flamingo

After debuting in Las Vegas last year, the comedic mime is back for a family friendly show. You might recognize his unique appearance from Americas Got Talent, where he was a season 11 finalist. VIP tickets are available and include a meet and greet, a photo with Tape Face, signed poster, and one-of-a-kind Tape Face poker chip. The VIP package can be purchased online through ticketmaster.com or by calling 702-777-2782.

Elton John: October 11-28, November 1-4, 2017 and February 9-27, March 1-2, 2018, Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Elton John will share the spotlight with his million dollar piano that supposedly took Yamaha four years to create and showcases 68 LED Yamaha video screens. The Million Dollar Piano premiered in 2011 but is returning to Vegas this fall and will continue through winter. Patrons can sing along to his top-selling hits from the past five decades. The “Rocket Man” performer has won five Grammy's as well as Academy and Tony Awards. 

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band: October 13-28, Planet Hollywood Showroom, Planet Hollywood

The former Beatle is coming to Vegas for a limited time. Along with multiple solo hits, Starr has been knighted by the Queen of England and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Patrons must be 5 or over to attend. VIP packages and meet and greets are available. 

Backstreet Boys: Wednesday, Fridays, and Saturdays November 2017 – February 2018, The Axis, Planet Hollywood 

One of the most popular boy bands ever is coming to Vegas in their headlining show, Larger Than Life. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, and Kevin Richardson will perform for a one-of-a-kind, show made exclusively for the Vegas stage. VIP packages and meet and greets are available. 

Reba, Brooks & Dunn: November 29 - December 9, The Colosseum, Caesars Palace

The country music superstars are getting together for a limited residency at The Colosseum. Brooks and Dunn have been honored with two Grammys, 20 Country Music Association awards, and 27 Academy of Country Music awards, making them the most-awarded act in ACM history. Reba hasn’t done too bad herself with 15 American Music Awards, 13 Academy of Country Music Awards, nine People’s Choice Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, two Grammy Awards, an ACM Career Achievement Honor. Other than music, she’s also known for her six-season sitcom, “Reba.”

The Nutcracker: December 9-24 Reynolds Hall, The Smith Center

Performed by the Nevada Ballet Theater, the classic ballet will bring to life sugar plum fairies, a mouse king, and of course, nutcrackers. The show will perform with a live orchestra and was artistically directed by James Canfield. Children under 3 will not be admitted. 

Rent: January 30 - Feburary 4 2018, Reynolds Hall The Smith Center

The 20th anniversary touring production is making a stop at the Smith Center. Winner of both a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award, the musical follows a year in the life of a group of New Yorkers. Due to some adult themes, the show is recommended for ages 13 and up.
