The 16th East Maui Taro Festival (www.tarofestival.org) celebrates taro, the staple food of Hawaii.
The event features cultural demonstrations such as poi-pounding, arts & crafts, food booths, information tent, and music and hula by local performers. Sunday April 27th features the annual Taro Pancake Breakfast at Hana Ballpark.
