A Waikiki Beach Restoration

The State Department of Land and Natural Resources has wrapped up a sand-replenishment project that brought some 10,000 cubic yards of sand from offshore deposits and placed it on Kuhio Beach in Waikiki. The project was done to counteract the effects of erosion and cost $475,000.
