Abbreviated Galapagos Cruises

Adventure Associates has unveiled new half-week expeditions to the Galapagos Islands, in addition to its full-length cruises, to accommodate the traveler on a time budget.

The Tuesday-Friday sailings will explore North Seymour Island where guests can view blue footed boobies, frigate birds, swallow tailed gulls and Galapagos sea lions; Espanola; Floreana for flamingo and tortoise-viewing; and Gardner Bay and Champion Island for snorkeling.

Friday-Tuesday sailings will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station; the island of Tower; Fernandina Island where you can spot iguanas, penguins and cormorants; Santiago Island; and Bartolme Island.

Half-week expeditions start at $1,607 per person. Visit www.adventure-associates.com.
