Hawaii's airlift scene just gets better and better: Following service from other cities along the mainland's west coast, Allegiant Air will begin new, nonstop air service from Phoenix to Honolulu International Airport (HNL) beginning February 7, 2013.

The new flights will operate three times weekly between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) and Honolulu International Airport (HNL).

To celebrate, the carrier will offer introductory fares for as low as $199 one-way. Flights are available for booking through April 16, 2013.
