In Australia, Victoria’s food and wine region, The Yarra Valley, will launch the first-ever Yarra Valley Food & Wine Festival next month.
The four-day festival—from April 26 to April 29—will showcase the Yarra Valley’s top wineries and restaurants, offering winery tours, beer-brewing master classes, gourmet tastings, insightful cooking classes, high teas, organic edible gardening tips and many other gastronomic activities.
The Grand Opening Degustation Dinner, a collaboration of five of the Yarra Valley’s finest chefs, will present five distinct courses inspired by the region’s best produce. The closing Garden Party will have a range of tastings, treats, demonstrations and entertainment.
The Yarra Valley is less than one hour from Melbourne, and makes for an easy day trip from the city.
