The Bahamas Hosts 2009 Miss Universe Pageant

The Islands Of The Bahamas are the host destination for the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant, a major international event that has brought visitors from all over the world. The 84 contestants have participated in events throughout the islands during the weeks of activities leading up to the competition which will be broadcast August 23 on NBC at 9 p.m. The British Colonial Hilton Nassau hosted the contestants for a lunch at this year’s event.
