The Balearia Bahamas Express launched its Miami – Bimini service onboard “The Maverick” today. The service, catering to day trippers and overnight passengers alike, will kick off with three trips per week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The ferry will leave Miami at 9 a.m. and arrive in Bimini by noon. Passengers doing a one-day trip will depart Bimini at 5 p.m. and arrive back in Miami around 8 p.m.
The Bimini Big Game Club, located in historic Alice Town, offers modern rooms, suites and a limited number of cottages, and boasts some of the best local bonefish guides in The Bahamas.
