Barbados Tourism Joins Virtuoso

The Island of Barbados has joined the Virtuoso travel network. Through the network Barbados will be available to more than 300 travel agencies and their clients across 22 countries. Barbados offers an authentic Caribbean experience with its exceptionally rich heritage.

Barbados had previously hosted the 2006 PGA World Golf Championships Barbados World Cup, the ICC Cricket World Cup Finals in 2007, the Sentebale Charity Polo match with Prince Harry of Wales in 2010, and this year Barbados is hosting the “Barbados Food and Wine and Rum Festival.” The event is set to draw guests such as Tom Coliccho, Marcus Samuelsson and Ming Tsai.

Barbados Tourism Authority President and CEO David M. Rice said, “The island of Barbados is thrilled about prestigious recognition and is looking forward to a flourishing partnership with Virtuoso.”
