Barceló Hotels and Resorts Introduces New Spa Concept

Barceló Hotels and Resorts recently announced the international debut of U Spa, a new spa concept providing specialized treatments based on each client’s specific needs.

U Spa allows guests to relax and rejuvenate in their own comfort and style. Separate treatment cabins offer privacy in each of the 5,000-square-foot spas.

Treatment rooms are personalized based on the resort’s surroundings, from mountain vistas to urban, city settings to exotic beach destinations.

Clients can further customize their experience by choosing their own ambiance through various types of music and aromatherapy.

“Barceló’s resort spas, now U Spas, are necessities for 21st century guests, who are seeking a healthy lifestyle as well as more personalization in services,” said Jaime Buxó, executive vice president of sales and marketing worldwide, in a written release.

U Spas may be found at 22 Barceló resorts and hotels throughout the Caribbean, Mexico and other parts of the worlds.
