Big Island Resort Opens New Restaurant

The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii, a luxury AAA Four Diamond resort on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii's Big Island, has recently opened the Hale Kai Restaurant, a family-friendly, "toes-in-the sand" dining experience just steps from the shoreline.

Located poolside, Hale Kai Restaurant offers lunch and dinner options ranging from pupus (appetizers) to sandwiches, salads pizzas and burgers. The menu at Hale Kai specializes in ‘Ohana’ (Family) plates, including Grilled Shoyu Flank Steak, Kona Brew Battered Fresh Fish, and Jumbo Crab Cake served with Family Style Edamame and Green Papaya Slaw.  A full-service bar features a tropical drink menu including a Hale Kai ‘Tini-a blend of Malibu rum, fresh pineapple, lime juice, Coco Lopez and a splash of Chambord.
