Bilila Lodge Kempinski in Tanzania To Open This Summer

Kempinski Hotels, which has a collection of luxury properties in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, will add Bilila Lodge Kempinski in Tanzania to its list of offerings on June 1. In the Central North section of Serengeti National Park, the 74-room lodge—including two private villas—will feature an infinity pool overlooking the grasslands, Anantara Spa, restaurant with an open kitchen, lounge, bar, wine cellar, authentic boma (corral) where guests can enjoy authentic barbecues, conference room, library, play room, fitness center, art gallery and gift shop. Cool Factor: This is said to be the largest lodge ever built in the Serengeti, and it will also have its own private game drives. Two is Better Than One: The lodge can be booked with sister property Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski.

Bilila Lodge Kempinski is a 45-minute drive from the Seronera airstrip, which is a 50-minute flight from Arusha.
