Bob Dylan and Chicago will perform at the 2011 OC Fair in Costa Mesa, CA., at 8 p.m., July 15 and July 28, respectively, as part of the Summer Concert Series at the Pacific Amphitheatre. Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster, online or by phone, and on-site at the OC Fair & Event Center Box Office, open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dylan will head the Summer Concert Series on the fair's opening day, July 15. Recently, he released the album, "Bob Dylan In Concert - Brandeis University 1963," a previously unknown live recording of one of his earliest performances. Two weeks later, July 28, rock band Chicago will take the stage, alongside its tour throughout the country this year from April 1 to September 13.
Running July 15 to August 14, the fair will be open Wednesday to Sunday, featuring 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music and action sports. Concert tickets include fair admission.
