Borgata Plans New $325 Hotel Tower

Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced plans for a $325 million hotel tower, called The Water Club at Borgata. As the second phase of the property's $525 million expansion plan, The Water Club is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2007. Named for its waterfront views and four pools, the tower will feature 800 rooms and suites, three residences, six retail stores and a two-story, 36,000-square-foot spa with 15 treatment rooms, a lap pool and fitness center. Two indoor pools and two outdoor heated pools will be open year-round. Upon completion, The Water Club will be connected to The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.
