Breezes Runaway Bay Prepares to Open after Renovation

SuperClubs will reopen the Jamaica resort Breezes Runaway Bay on Dec. 15. The resort has completed a six-month $20 million renovation that will add 15 percent more rooms and suites, and a complete overhaul of existing accommodations. Among the upgrades is the new low-rise room block, constructed on the western beach of the 27-acre property, and introducing 30 oceanfront rooms and suites, including seven one-bedroom suites and eight verandah suites with private plunge pools. In addition, on the eastern courtyard, 30 gardenview rooms will be expanded and transformed into 40 verandah suites with private plunge pools. Existing guest rooms will have new mahogany furnishings, LCD televisions, and high-speed wireless Internet access. A revamped full-service spa will be added and re-branded as part of a new signature line of Blue Mahoe Spas at SuperClubs Resorts. For more information visit [www.breezes.com].
