Carolyn Muller Brown, the most recent addition to the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, has been appointed National Director Hotel Sales, Northern California.
The LA Tourism sales team is responsible for booking meetings and conventions at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Los Angeles area hotels.
Brown served as National Sales Director for the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she managed the Northern California and Pacific Northwest markets. She has an extensive background in hotels, including many years as Director of National Accounts for Hyatt Hotels of California. Brown is the first member of the California Society of Association Executives to be named "Associate of the Year" twice. She also received the "Supplier of the Year" award from the MPI Sacramento/Sierra Nevada Chapter.
