Chapter Hotels Opens Second Property in Exeter, Devon

The two-year-old Chapter Hotels brand has opened its second property: The Magdalen Chapter will open on June 25 in Exeter, Devon, close to the city’s Norman cathedral and Gandy Street’s boutiques and historic quayside.

Previously the West England Eye Hospital, the 19th century building has been recreated by Feilden Clegg Bradley into a 59-room hotel. We hear that every bedroom has a slightly different design and comes with an iPad 2, a complimentary minibar, free Wi-Fi and REN products in the bathrooms.

A garden pathway leads to The Spa with four treatment rooms offering facials, massages and mini-treatments by locally based skincare brand REN.
