Classic Vacations, Pleasant Holidays Enter Martinique Market

Travel Agent learned Tuesday afternoon that two major Caribbean tour operators will begin selling Martinique in very soon, a testament to the increasingly popular Eastern Caribbean island with a French twist.

Although details are still being ironed out, we were told Classic Vacations will be offering two luxury resorts in Martinique - Le Cap Est Lagoon Resort & Spa and MGallery Bakoua. Classic Vacations packages are on sale this month.

Meanwhile, the Pleasant Holidays program will include five properties -- Le Cap Est Lagoon Resort & Spa, MGallery Bakoua, La Suite Villa, Pierre Vacances and Plein Soleil. Those packages are expected to go on sale in January
