The Cool Pool of the Week: Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa

The outdoor pool at the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa offers beautiful valley views of Tuscany.

Located on the hill of an expansive two-mile estate in the heart of one of Italy’s most beloved regions, the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa overlooks the mountainous Serchio Valley, one of the most unexplored areas of Italy.

The property has two pools - one indoor pool (heated) and one outside pool (seasonal and unheated). If weather permits, Millennials should bypass the indoor pool and head straight to the outdoor one simply for the incredible valley views it offers.

The indoor pool is a part of the resort’s 8,000 square-foot spa, which also features a whirlpool, sauna and hammam. The outdoor pool offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains, parkland and charming villages, and also serves as a popular location for private parties, events and weddings. The outdoor pool also offers towels and chaise lounges for guests and illuminates at night.
