The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Will Celebrate the New Year With Stevie Wonder

The New Year’s Eve celebration at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas this year will include a performance by Stevie Wonder.

The legendary artist, songwriter, musician and producer has received 25 Grammy Awards, amassed 49 Top Forty singles and 32 #1 singles, and worldwide sales of over 100 million units. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. PST and will be available online or can be booked by phone. The celebration will begin at 9:30 p.m. at The Chelsea, the intimate venue at the Cosmopolitan, and includes an open bar for all ticketholders. Guests must be 21 or older.

The general admission ticket price begins at $250, including applicable service charges and taxes, and comes with complimentary cocktails throughout the show. There are also a limited number of available New Year’s Weekend packages, which include a hotel room, tickets, and other special amenities at the Cosmopolitan. The prices range from $1,500 to $3,500. The New Year’s Eve in the City, or $1,500 package, includes: a three-night stay in a City Room, two tickets to the performance, $150 in resort credit and $50 in Identity play. The New Year’s Eve on the Terrace, or $2,000 package, includes: a three-night stay in a Terrace One Bedroom, two tickets to the performance with early admission, $250 in resort credit and $100 in Identity play. The New Year’s Eve in Luxury, or $3,500 package, includes: a three-night stay in a Terrace Wraparound Suite, two tickets to the performance with early admission, $500 in resort credit, $400 in Sahra Spa credit, $300 in Identity play and complimentary limousine transportation to-and-from McCarran International Airport.
