UK-based Thomson Cruises recently announced that it will expand its itinerary to provide a selection of 14-night Caribbean cruises later this year.  In addition, the cruise line will be offering stops in Cuba starting in December.

To inaugurate this tour, the “Thomson Dream,” a new cruise vessel with a capacity for over 1,500 passengers, will begin offering regular itineraries to Havana, Cuba.

Travelers on Thomson Cruises can choose from three different sailing routes, each with stops on the island.  The “Cuban Adventure” cruise sails from Montego Bay to Barbados, with a three-day-two-night layover in Cuba, while the “Caribbean Experience” cruise will sail from Barbados to Havana, stopping for the night in Cuba.  Meanwhile the “Classic Caribbean” cruise will focus on other Caribbean islands, using Havana as its launching point on its way to Montego Bay.
