August in Dusseldorf means time to get in shape. Now in its eighth year, the Dusseldorf Olympic Adventure Camp (OAC) will kick off August 21 to 28.
The free, eight-day event offers over 50 sports and programs for children and their families. The program engages the city's six- to 21-year-olds and their parents with a menu of sports and adventure-related events and entertainment. Activities include everything from canoeing and inline skating to sumo wrestling and dirt surfing.
Head to the city's Apollo Square from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. to partake in the events.
