EcoTulum Resorts Retunes Spa Lodge in Patagonia

EcoTulum Resorts will weatherproof Amilik, its luxury spa lodge in Patagonia, Chile, and revise the project, renaming the resort Zulika and converting the hotels wilderness tents into year-round, all-season structures. The upgrades to the 10 luxury accommodations will include durable, insulated walls and manually controlled heating systems. Developers project that the weatherproofing enhancements will push back the resorts launch date until fall of 2007. A second property called Ulaa, comprising seven cabins located on the same 586 acres of wilderness, is slated to open this month. Visit [www.ecotulum.com].
