L’Apogee Courchevel, a new ski resort in the French Alps and the seventh Masterpiece Hotel from the Oetker Collection, is set to open December 11, 2013. The new hotel is a sister property to the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc.
The new property is in the Jardin Alpin on the Courchevel 1850 level, with views of Courchevel village and ski-in / ski-out access to “The Three Valleys” ski area.
Rooms and Suites
The property’s Penthouse offers a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, three ensuite bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with two single beds. The master bedroom has an indoor Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath and a living room with separate dining room offers space for entertaining.
The resort also has a 525 square meter chalet, “l’Amarante,” with five ensuite bedrooms, each with mountain views. The chalet’s private spa has a Jacuzzi, sauna and double treatment room. The chalet comes staffed with a private butler, room attendants and a personal chef. A private lift offers direct access to the ski slopes.
Other room categories range from a Deluxe Room to a Two Bedroom Suite.
The main restaurant, Le Comptoir de L’Apogee, is centered around it ham aging cellar. Aged hams are carved before the guests and accompanied by a fromagerie with cheeses sourced from artisanal producers and matured on the property by the restaurant’s affineurs.
The resort’s Champagne Bar offers an original champagne menue, was well as coffee, tisanes or light lunch snacks for guests only.
The hotel bar, Le Bar de L’Apogee, offers artisanal cocktails and accompanying canapés, as well as a light lunch menu.
Le Spa de L’Apogee offers six rooms with Sisley treatments and a hairdresser salon, as well as a steam room, sauna and salt cave, as well as a fitness center and mosaic swimming pool with its own Jacuzzi. A Bania Suite for couples has a heated cabin and cold plunge pool followed by a massage.
