Fiji Situation Is Fluid

The current situation between Fiji's military and government still appears to be very fluid, says Viliame "Bill" Gavoka, chief executive of the Fiji Visitors Bureau. He anticipates that there won't be further clarity until this week. "When that happens," Gavoka notes, "we'll quickly call a gathering of people to assess the situation and map out a way forward. I've indicated to everyone that tourism is ready to bounce back, but first the impasse needs to go."
