The first Starwood Hotels & Resorts' aloft hotel has opened in Montreal. The 136-room aloft Montreal Airport will offer an abundance of technology touches, "atmospheric" public spaces and other appealing guest amenities. Starwood is marketing aloft as a lifestyle brand fit for today's traveler with urban-influenced design and accessible technology. Guest rooms feature loft-like nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows.

The aloft Montreal Airport is located at the entrance to the Trudeau International Airport and accessible to many local Montreal attractions and entertainment (it's 20 minutes from downtown).

Following Montreal, aloft properties will soon open at Chicago O'Hare, in Minneapolis and Lexington, MA, and at Philadelphia Airport. In 2009, an aloft will open in Brooklyn. Visit www.alofthotels.com.
