First Heavenly Spa by Westin to Open in the U.S.

The Westin Resort Hilton Head Island in South Carolina will open the first Heavenly Spa by Westin in the continental United States in April 2007, according to the resort's general manager, Jim McGlashan. The spa marks the fourth Heavenly Spa by Westin, joining three others at the Westin Maui, the Westin Fiji and the Westin Langkawi, in Malaysia. The 8,000-square-foot space will include a full-service salon, hot stone massages, nine treatment rooms including two facial rooms, and one opulent couples' suite with dual beds and an oversized soaking tub. The spa's menu will include an exclusive collection of Holistic Spa Services, such as the Indigo massage, Indigo wrap and Indigo facial--all designed to reflect the natural surroundings of Hilton Head Island, where the indigo plant is a historically prevailing crops.
