This Thursday, December 16, Las Vegas' first Steak 'n Shake restaurant will open at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa at 11 a.m. with a celebratory ribbon cutting by Sardar Biglari , Chairman and CEO of Biglari Holdings, which owns the restaurant, Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman and South Point owner Michael Gaughan.
The classic American brand will reside in the 2,200-room resort located in the southwest Las Vegas valley.
This development joins the casino, which earlier this summer underwent a 55,000-square foot expansion. In addition to the hotel's spa, bowling center, exhibit hall and convention center, the property features a showroom, equestrian arena, bingo and other restaurants.
"The opening of Steak 'n Shake in Las Vegas is a historic milestone because, after 76 years, we are expanding into a western state and an urban area, which epitomizes action and excitement," Biglari said.
