Both Disney and Universal parks recently raised ticket prices for park entry. Walt Disney World two weeks ago upped its one-day prices from $67 to $71 per ticket and the Orlando Sentinel reported on Friday that Universal Orlando matched that price. A spokesperson for Disney said that pricing on packages--more commonly sold by travel agents than one-day passes--also has increased, but noted that the rise is minor when broken down to a per-day cost. For example, a seven-day "Magic Your Way" ticket now costs $219, up from $210, but the price per day with the $219 ticket is roughly $31, compared to $210 ticket's daily breakdown of $30.
