Four Seasons Lanai Gets New Resort Manager

A name to remember when sending your clients to Lanai: George Tanzman has been named resort manager of Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay.

Tanzman, a 20-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, has worked in management positions in some of the most exclusive and luxurious destinations in the world, in North America, Asia and Australia. Over the course of his career, he has held positions in, or provided on site support, to well over twenty Four Seasons properties, including Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, Four Seasons Resort Nevis, Four Seasons Corporate Office Hong Kong, Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, and most recently at Four Seasons Resort Aviara. Tanzman’s hospitality career began in 1990 at Four Seasons Hotel Boston, where he served as assistant housekeeping manager.

Tanzman is a graduate of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He also received a Master of Science in Business from the Isenberg School of Management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst’s Department of Hospitality and Tourism. He lives in Lanai City with his wife Phelia and enjoys music, cooking, travel, and exploring Lanai’s many off-the-beaten path adventures.
