Full-Service Gambling and Smoke Free Hotel Opens in Las Vegas

The Platinum Hotel and Spa opened its doors this week in Las Vegas and is just the second condo-hotel to open in the city. Even more striking, the hotel will prohibit smoking and be gaming free, which is a deviation from most hotels in Las Vegas. "Being that we are nongaming, nonsmoking and full service, there is truly nothing else like our hotel in the city," said vice president and general manager Peter Rockwood. The hotel will include 255 one- and two-bedroom units replete with fully stocked kitchens, private terraces, electric fireplaces, Bose radios and wall-mounted, 42-inch plasma HDTV's. The Platinum Hotel and Spa is a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts. For reservations, call (877) 211-9211 or visit [www.lvplatinum.com].
