Germany Expands on the Web

The German National Tourist Office has revamped its web site to include a more linear layout and the addition of travel tools and maps. The new homepage also showcases "Germany's Top Ten" places to go, things to do and events, as well as an interactive map that details the country's top destinations. The site also has five new content areas: About Germany, Culture and Events, Nature, Active and Recreation, Planning Your Trip and About Us. Information on shopping, spas, art and music, castles and palaces, religious traditions and World Heritage Sites are also available. Travel tools such as downloading brochures, newsletter subscription and a travel planner and route finder further help in researching itineraries. Visit [www.cometogermany.com].
