Hamilton Island Launches Trade Website

In anticipation of increased interest generated by a recent visit from Oprah Winfrey, Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef has announced a new website for trade — www.hamiltonisland.com.au/trade.
This new reference tool — a dedicated trade website – is specifically designed to help better educate the destination’s trade partners about Hamilton Island. The site includes brochures, training fact sheets, product manager manuals, contact information and background on the sales team, and access to the extensive image library. In addition, it provides details on all special travel industry rates and offers.
“We are excited about this new site as it reflects our desire to work in tandem with the trade community to increase awareness about Hamilton Island and its many offerings,” said Phillipa Harrison, Hamilton Island’s general manager of sales. “Because travel agents are important to our business, and we expect many more U.S. travelers to inquire about the island in the coming months, we wanted to make it easy for agents to help their clients plan the perfect vacation to the Great Barrier Reef.”
